The goal is to collect gold bars along the way to raise your score. With each run, you'll be challenged to go farther than you did before. Every time you lose, the game starts over, giving you a new task. 

In Miner Runner, you can also buy power-ups like magnets to get more gold, jetpacks to fly over barriers, and bonuses like double jumps and double coins in the in-game shop. How to play
